An admin can change it in Settings › Family › Currency. Forra doesn't convert anything: every amount keeps its number, and only the symbol changes.
Steps
- Open Settings and tap Currency under Family.
- Pick your currency, then tap Change currency to confirm.
Before you switch
- No conversion. 100 stays 100, so €100 becomes CHF 100, not the exchange-rate equivalent.
- Past entries change too. Amounts entered before the switch show the new symbol.
- Members need a recent version of the app. Anyone on an older version keeps seeing the old symbol until they update.
- Only admins can change it. Other members see "Only the family admin can change the currency."
Forra supports 20 currencies: euro, Swiss franc, British pound, Polish złoty, Swedish krona, Czech koruna, US dollar, Danish krone, Norwegian krone, Romanian leu, Bulgarian lev, Turkish lira, Belarusian ruble, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar, Indian rupee, Singapore dollar, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal and Egyptian pound.
