Notifications aren't arriving
- Open Settings › Notifications. If a banner says notifications are off, tap Open Settings and allow them for Forra.
- Check that the notifications you want are switched on.
- Update Forra from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sign out and back in. This registers your phone for notifications again.
You aren't notified about your own changes, only about what others in your household do.
An invite link opens a web page instead of the app
Update Forra from the App Store or Google Play and tap the link again. Some older Android versions of the app open invite links in the browser. Until then, the page shows the 8-character code: in Forra, choose Join a family and type it.
"You're already in a family"
You can only be in one household. To join a different one, leave yours first in Settings › Leave family, then open the invite again. What leaving does.
"That invite code has expired" or "has already been used"
A code lasts 14 days and works once. Ask the person who invited you to tap Invite a member and send it again.
The "Update ready" popup, and the version number didn't change
Update ready is a quick update to Forra that installs without the app store. Tap Update now and Forra restarts in a moment. The version number in About only changes when you update from the App Store or Google Play, so after this popup it looks the same, even though the update worked.
The sign-up or reset code email didn't arrive
- Wait a minute and check your spam or junk folder.
- Tap Resend code. Only the newest code works.
- Check for a typo in your email address. Forra suggests a fix when it spots a common one.
Premium features are still locked after subscribing
- Make sure your phone is signed in to the Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with.
- In Forra, open Settings › Restore purchases.
- If it's still locked, wait a minute and restart Forra.
Premium belongs to the account that subscribed. Other people in your household keep the free features. See Subscription and billing.
A Forra link in Instagram shows a white page
Instagram's built-in browser can't open the App Store. Tap ⋯ in the top corner, choose Open in browser, and tap the link again.
"No connection — showing what we have"
Forra can't reach the internet, so you're seeing what was last loaded. Changes you make now may not save. Wait for a connection, then pull down to refresh.
