Go to Settings › Members › Invite a member and tap Share. Your partner gets a link that opens Forra with the invite already filled in.
Steps
- On the Home tab, tap the gear to open Settings.
- Under Family, tap Members, then Invite a member.
- Tap Invite a member to get a code, then Share to send it by WhatsApp, text or email. You can also tap Copy.
The message reads "Join me on Forra" with a link like forrafamily.app/invite/K3MJWQR4. On a phone with Forra installed, the link opens the app with the code filled in. On a phone or computer without it, the link opens a page showing the code and the App Store and Google Play buttons.
Good to know
- Only admins can invite. Anyone else sees "Only family admins can create invite codes."
- A code lasts 14 days and works once. To invite a second person, tap Invite a member again after the first has joined.
- Tapping Invite again doesn't break the link you already sent. If your code hasn't been used, you get the same code back with a fresh 14 days.
- We'll remind you, not them. A few days before an unused code expires, we email you with a one-tap button to send it again. We never contact the person you invited, and we don't store their details. You can unsubscribe with the link in that email.
